Happy Hours are one of the most effective loyalty tools for increasing foot traffic during slow periods, boosting revenue, and motivating customers to visit at specific times. With Fenlora, you can launch a Happy Hours promotion in just a few steps and immediately influence customer behavior.
This guide explains how to set up a Happy Hours campaign and how to use it strategically in your café.
How to Create a Happy Hours Promotion
1. Go to Promotions → Create a new promotion (from the left menu) 2. Enter the promotion name Examples: Happy Hours, Afternoon Discount, Coffee Time Deal
3. Select the loyalty card template This is the digital card customers use inside Fenlora Wallet.
4. Choose the distribution method — or check “Do not take into account the methods of distribution.”
5. In the “Loyalty Program” dropdown, select: Bonuses 6. In “Promotion Type”, choose: Happy Hours
7. Choose the target audience Most businesses select All clients.
8. Select the promotion period Choose Indefinitely.
9. Click Continue to go to the next step.
Setting Up Promotion Terms
The success of your Happy Hours greatly depends on choosing the correct time window.
10. Set the days and hours when the promotion will run
Examples:
Weekdays 3:00 PM–5:00 PM
Mornings 9:00 AM–11:00 AM
Evenings 5:00 PM–7:00 PM
⚠️ Important! Choose the right time for Happy Hours to run in your café. Happy Hours should be active during your least busy times, when customer flow is naturally low.
Typical slow periods:
Coffee shops: 2 PM–5 PM
Restaurants: 3 PM–6 PM
Hookah lounges: 5 PM–8 PM
11. Choose which products the promotion applies to Select All catalog for full-menu activation.
12. Select the type of reward Discount or Bonus points (For Happy Hours, most cafés prefer a discount.)
13. Set the discount percentage or bonus percentage Example: 15% discount
Saving and Launching the Promotion
14. Click Save You will see a confirmation message: The promotion has been saved.
15. Click Start a promotion Your Happy Hours campaign is now active.
